Hidden Heart Lock·Bead Lock Upgraded Version

It looks like a bead lock and has a built-in square latch for better security.

Answer to the daily confusion?Looks very much like a bead lock

The outdoor part of the hidden heart lock (the bob handle) is exactly the same as a traditional bead lock, so many people get it wrong. But in fact, the security levels of the two are completely different. The most accurate way to tell is to look at the door side (edge of the lock body)。

One second resolution method
  • Bead Lock: There is only a slanting tongue on the door side.
  • Hidden Heart Lock: There is a bevel + square latch on the door side (square deadbolt)

As long as you see the square bolt, it must be a hidden heart lock, and the security is much higher than that of ordinary bead locks.

Control method

Slope (automatic lock tongue): Both the outdoor wave (handle) and the indoor wave can move the tilt to open/close the door.
Square latch (anti-theft deadbolt): Outdoors, you need to use a key to control the extension/retraction of the square bolt; indoors, you need to use a twisting hand to control the square bolt.

Structural features

The "hidden heart" of the hidden lock means that the lock cylinder is hidden inside the handle. The appearance is simple, but there are multiple square latches inside to achieve double locking.

Advantages of security upgrade

  • Compared with the pure bead lock, it has extra square latches and cannot be pried open with a credit card/film.
  • If you need to use a lock key outdoors, you can first unlatch it, which has high anti-theft ability.
  • Suitable for places such as gates that require higher security.
  • It is necessary to lock the door with a key to avoid having to take the key with you when going out

Correct steps to use the hidden heart lock

Outdoor use
  • Leave (lock the door):
    1. Close the door → The tilt will pop up automatically and position the door in the closed state.
    2. Use the key to control the square latch (turn clockwise) → the square latch extends and the door is locked.
  • Enter (open the door):
    1. First use the key to control the square latch (turn counterclockwise) → retract the square latch.
    2. Then twist the wave (handle) to drive the tilt → the tilt is retracted to open the door.
Indoor use
  • Stay (lock the door):
    1. Close the door → The tilt pops up automatically and the door is closed.
    2. Turn the indoor knob → the control square latch extends and the door is locked.
  • Leave (open the door):
    1. First turn the twister to retract the square latch.
    2. Then twist the wave to drive the tilt → the tilt is retracted, and you can push the door out.
Tips: The tilt of the hidden heart lock is only to assist positioning, and the real anti-theft method relies on the square latch. When leaving the door, be sure to use a key to lock the latch. The door will not be locked unless the door is closed.
